Our commercial and industrial services include video surveillance, access control, intrusion alarms, fire alarm and life safety, intercoms, gates, turnstiles, structured cabling, networking and integrated security systems.

Before you apply

Have your license details, licensed states, General Liability and Workers’ Compensation information, manufacturer credentials, and recent project references ready. Clearly identify any claimed licensing or insurance exemption. NERSA will review qualifications and verify applicable licensing and insurance before assigning work. Applying does not guarantee work or create a contractor agreement.

General Liability policy information

Provide insurer, policy number, per-occurrence and aggregate limits, effective and expiration dates, insurance agent contact, certificate of insurance availability, and whether additional-insured coverage is available. If uninsured, state that clearly.

Workers’ Compensation information

State whether you hold an active policy, claim a lawful exemption, or are not insured. For coverage, provide insurer, policy number, covered states, effective/expiration dates, employers liability limits and certificate availability. For an exemption, provide its basis, applicable state and supporting-document availability.

Manufacturer and platform training

List each manufacturer and platform, training or certification title, trained technicians and technician count, completion and expiration dates, hands-on installation/programming experience, and whether certificates are available. Distinguish formal certification from field experience. Enter None if not applicable.

Safety training, equipment and commissioning

Describe safety credentials and dates, incident-reporting practices, tools and test equipment, lift access, programming/commissioning capabilities, and ability to deliver labeled cabling, test results, as-built drawings and customer handoff documentation.

Recent commercial projects and business references

Describe two recent projects, including location, services performed, your role and completion date. Provide two business references with company, contact name, business phone/email and permission for NERSA to contact them. Do not include confidential customer or security-system information.

Availability and additional qualifications

Provide earliest availability, typical crew size, travel or scheduling restrictions, and any commercial auto or umbrella insurance details. Add other relevant qualifications. Do not provide Social Security numbers, tax IDs, banking information or passwords.
